Services offered by the Trans Care Team include:

Meet with a counselor who has training and experience working with transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming students.

For students seeking a gender embodiment medical procedure that requires a letter from a health care professional, in accordance with WPATH Standards of Care.

To schedule an appointment, call CAPS at 562-985-4001 and ask to meet with a member of the Trans Care Team. When you call, please let us know what service you are interested in (i.e., brief counseling, letter of support, case management).

Please note that for students seeking a letter of support, you will not be asked questions about the medical procedure you are seeking at the time of scheduling your appointment.

Rainbow Cafe is a welcoming drop-in support group hosted by CAPS for LGBTQIA+ students and those exploring their sexual, romantic, and/or gender identities. Join us every Monday from 3:30-5:00 PM in PH1-230 during the fall and spring semesters. Follow Rainbow Cafe on Instagram @csulb.rainbowcafe for more information.

Meet with a Case Manager for help connecting with affirming mental health services off campus or navigating your health insurance.
