Provost Brian Jersky

Our campus is reinventing itself at a time where change is daunting, but necessary. We are open to exploring our future, and hope you will join us on our collective journey. This is why the upcoming event, Imagine – Beach 2030 – is so important.

Before and during Imagine, several planned activities will take place around campus. One event will be a one-hour webinar, hosted by me, to discuss the future of higher education. The webinar, open to the entire university community, will include a panel of students, faculty and staff on campus.

I am scheduling the time for October 29 at 1 pm. Please RSVP here to join the conversation.

Here are topics the webinar will explore:

  • Faculty of the future
  • Future curriculum and programs
  • Future of learning
  • Future of a liberal education
  • Future of RSCA
  • Future of higher education

I hope you will be able to engage at this time. During the webinar, attendees can write comments or ask questions. I encourage you to participate if you can.

Have a question about Beach 2030?  We are hosting both Information Sessions and Future Tools Sessions to further understand Beach 2030 and futurist concepts.

Here is an upcoming video for Imagine Beach 2030 – while on the website, be sure to RSVP to get updates and reminders to participate.

Ever feel like your voice didn’t matter? Now it does - trust the process. In all my academic career, I have not been a part of a process so comprehensive yet inclusive.

I look forward to hearing your voice.

Brian Jersky
Provost and Senior Vice President
