Celebrate a university legend and one of our all-time greats as his jersey is retired and enshrined at the Walter Pyramid. Glenn McDonald’s No. 20 will be retired at half-time of the Homecoming game.

McDonald played men’s basketball for three years at the Beach, reaching the Sweet 16 in back-to-back years. A first-round draft pick of the Boston Celtics, McDonald spent three seasons in the NBA before returning to the Beach, where he served as a coach with the women’s basketball program before working in the Kinesiology department. In all, McDonald spent over 35 years working for the university.

Be there to congratulate Glenn as his jersey is retired.

Before the game, be part of the moment as the 2018 Men’s Volleyball team is presented with their 2018 National Championship rings. This squad played with the heart of a champion and amassed a 28-1 record.  Be part of this special moment in Beach history!
