The Apostle Business Ideation Challenge is a fast-pitch competition that gives CSULB students and student teams the opportunity to win cash prizes for their business ideas.
The John and Helen Apostle Foundation supports entrepreneurs from the CSULB campus community to pursue their passion and the creation of innovative businesses to help grow the Long Beach economy.

Rules/Info of the Pitch
- 3-minute pitch with three slides
- Q&A from a three-judge panel
- Your deck should be in PowerPoint format with an aspect ratio of 4:3
- Your FINAL deck is due by 8:00 am on Monday, December 4th (NO CHANGES ALLOWED AFTER THAT TIME)
- Your final deck should be emailed to csulb-iie@csulb.edu

Eligibility
Currently enrolled students who have participated in:
- The Apostle Incubator
- Apostle Enterprise Lab
- Students who participated in the workshop with Steve Boyer
Prize Money
A total of $10,000 will be awarded. There will be 2 grand prizes of $2,500 each and 5 honorable mentions of $1,000 each.
