Please join us for a timely panel on Wednesday, October 29 at 9:30AM-10:45AM in LA1-312 for a discussion on legal strategies and popular defense campaigns of people at the intersection of immigrant-penal legal regimes, a class of defendants typically outside the protections of the law. Dr. Rich Haesly, Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science, will share introductory remarks, immigration attorney with the Legal Services of New Jersey Olivia Kaplan will share most recent legal strategies used for this group of defendants, and members with Cosecha NJ and Radio Cosecha will share their experiences with inside-outside organizing strategies and popular defense campaigns.
