Global Book Bags

This workshop is for elementary grade teachers and librarians interested in developing global competence and literacy skills through children's literature and home (or classroom) learning activities.

Participants will:

• Learn about Global Book Bags and Global Competence
• Explore literature with global themes and STEAM topics
• Create book bags to take back to their classrooms

$100 mini-grants for those teacher participants who create 3 global book bags from a variety of titles
