Off-Campus Community - Virtual: USAID's First Annual Virtual Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) Conference & Career Expo
The Office of the Chief Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Officer of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is pleased to invite you and your members to USAID’s Virtual Conference and Career Expo - Asian American and Pacific Islander Voices: Inclusivity for a Stronger World, from February 15-17, 2023 starting at 12:00pm on the 15th through 6pm on the 17th.
This virtual event will bring together students, alumni, faculty and administrators from Asian American and Pacific Islander serving institutions, as well as other members and friends of the diverse Asian American and Pacific Islander community to learn about USAID, careers in international affairs, and how to build new partnerships. Speakers will include members of USAID senior leadership, staff, and guests from the public and private sectors. Sessions will include:
- Resume writing workshop and advice on starting your career at USAID
- Fundamentals of foreign assistance and partnering with USAID
- Networking and professional development
- Certified trainings for faculty, staff, students and alumni
