Counseling and Psychological Services and Project OCEAN are actively building additions to this set of virtual resources that are designed to support and enhance your mental health and wellness. Virtual Drop-In Support Spaces via Zoom

Drop-in spaces are hosted by CAPS to provide a supportive space for students to connect on similar experiences and interests. It is not a therapy group. Students are not expected to attend each group meeting but can join the group as often as needed.

Upcoming Virtual Workshops via Zoom

QPR stands for Question, Persuade, and Refer, 3 simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life. This nationally recognized certification training is intended to teach individuals how to recognize the symptoms/ warning signs of suicide and provide guidelines as to how to appropriately Question a person about suicidal thoughts, how to Persuade them to get help, and how to Refer the person to seek help. Upon completion of training, participants will be certified as a QPR Suicide Prevention Gatekeeper for 3 years. *Training facilitated by Project OCEAN.

Motivation & Burnout - Signs and Coping Stategies
Project OCEAN and CAPS represenatives will be having a weekly discussion/workshop on Instagram live on motivation and burnout. There, they will talk symptoms, coping strategies, tips and wellness plans to help with the lack of motivation and burnout.
