Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Requirement     

Ten (10) hours per year of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is required for Certified Specialists in Planned Giving (CSPGCM) designation holders, to maintain their CSPGCM professional designation in an active and current status. CPE can be obtained through attendance at your local planned giving roundtable or council, regional and national planned giving conferences, and other relevant seminars, workshops, or training sessions.

The CPE requirement begins the year after the program is completed.  If the program is completed in 2023, 10 CPE hours would be required in 2024.

A certificate will be awarded at the conclusion of each year to document completion of the Continuing Professional Education requirement.
