Psychology Department AI Task Force - "CLT+ALT+TEACH - A Faculty Discussion About AI's Impact On Pedagogy"

The event addresses how AI is affecting pedagogy. Though this first event has a greater emphasis for faculty, all are welcome to attend. Students may still find it useful as it will provide an overview of how AI and large language models work, its common limitations, the dangers of overreliance, and how its benefits and risks vary across disciplines. The discussion will focus on its influence across different fields of expertise and how faculty have been using AI technologies to shape their teaching and/or assessments. In the remaining section, everyone will be encouraged to share their own experiences and bring their own questions about these emerging technologies.
