Dismantling Due Process: U.S. Immigration Courts
Hear from CSULB students about their courtroom observations and contributions to the Justice in View report. Justice in View is accepting applications for next semester and will continue for the next two years. The panel is a great opportunity for student to learn about the project from me, co-PI Dr. Frank-Vitale, and our incredible CLA students who are involved. You can also read about the project in this feature citing student Stacey Montoya (CSULB Anthropology and Political Science). Reflecting on observing a six-year-old appearing in court without a lawyer, Stacey said: “That six-year-old could have been me.” Our students contributions are both urgent and consequential.
