Faculty, students, alumni, and interested community members, please come to our eighth annual First Monday: U.S. Supreme Court Preview event, jointly sponsored by the Political Science Department, the Legal Studies Program and the Center for First Amendment Studies, next Monday October 5 at 4pm in the Anatol Center (AS 119) (the building next to the Library).

As the Court begins its 2026-2027 term this coming Monday, there are once again a number of salient and controversial issues on the docket, including voting rights, immigrant rights, presidential power, religious free exercise, LGBTQ rights, guns, and climate change.
