Center Office
The Center for Latino Community Health is excited to host a Virtual Open House on Thursday, Sep. 30, 2021 from 12 pm – 1 pm. Participants can join via Zoom and can learn about the Center's research programs and opportunities for faculty and community partner collaborations. Student opportunities will also be shared.

The Center for Latino Community Health welcomed it's staff and students at the Fall 2021 Center All-Staff Meeting on Friday, Sep. 17, 2021 from 1 pm – 3 pm. This mandatory meeting was an orientation for Center projects and procedures and is held once a semester.

Brown Bag Research Talk
The May Brown Bag Research Talk will feature Dr. Christina Lovato from the School of Social Work. The presentation is called Addressing the Social Service Needs of Latinx Immigrant Families Impacted by Immigration Enforcement and COVID-19. This research presentation showcases the exacerbated fears among Latinx immigrant communities which have been further intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic and the shifts in U.S. immigration policies during the past two decades.
