Eric Reyes Loo
Eric Reyes Loo is a Los Angeles-based playwright and television writer. He has staffed on both comedy and drama series and is currently (pre-strike) developing two pilots at production companies with deals at Warner Bros, and Sony. His plays have been produced and developed at theatres all over the country.

Eric has taught screenwriting, TV writing and playwriting at various universities including San Diego State University, Loyola Marymount University and Santa Clara University.
Eric started his career as a staff writer on the AwesomenessTV/Hulu drama series Guidance, where he wrote three episodes his first year on the show, including the two-part season finale. That lead to him being promoted to Co-Producer the following year. He also was an Executive Story Editor on the Netflix one-hour comedy, A.J. and the Queen, starring RuPaul and co-created by Michael Patrick King.
Pre-strike, Eric had two projects in development - a comedy and a drama - at production companies with deals at Warner Bros. and Sony.
Currently, Eric's working on a commission from New Conservatory Theatre Center in San Francisco for a play called Simple Mexican Pleasures, which is a sequel to his critically acclaimed play, Death and Cockroaches, which was produced by Chalk Rep Theatre in 2018. Simple Mexican Pleasures is slated for production in the 2024-25 season.
Additionally, Eric’s play about active shooter drills, This is Only a Test, received its world premiere in February 2022 in Chicago, produced by Broken Nose Theatre.
