Join us for our second annual “Gems” screening and enjoy a selection of animation, documentary, and narrative films made by students in the School of Art Animation Program and The Film & Electronic Arts Department. Many of these films have won awards during and after their time at CSULB.  

*Bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating as this event will be outside on the grass area of the upper campus quad by FA-4, costumes are also encouraged!


Schedule of Event 

Friday, October 28th 

6:30pm-7:30pm Student Meet & Greet (Music, Film & Animation Student Mixer by PH1) 

7:00pm-9:00pm: Food Truck parked by Peterson Hall 

7:30pm:  Screening Starts   

8:30pm: Intermission (snacks and candy available to buy)   

9:00pm: Screening Resumes   

10:00pm: End of event

Parking

Parking on campus is enforced 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including holidays. Daily parking permits can be purchased for $12 at anytime for G lots, and for E lots after 5:30pm on weekdays or all day on weekends. 

Short-Term parking is available in select areas on campus (G1, G4, G5, G10, G11, G12, G15, E1, E5, E6, State University Drive and the South Turnaround). Please review the campus map for all Short-Term parking locations. Short-Term virtual permits are valid only within the lot where they are purchased and cannot be transferred to other Short-Term parking locations. Short term parking permits can be purchased for $10 for 90 minutes, $5 for 1 hour, or $3 for 30 minutes. 

Our campus uses License Plate Recognition (LPR). Please have your license plate information ready when purchasing your permit. 

Daily and Short-term parking can be purchased from the nearest pay station or through the Parkmobile App.
