You are invited to the Economics Department Seminar Series. Our second talk of the semester will be held in-person this Friday, October 10 from 11:00am-12:00pm in SSPA-107. Our speaker will be PhD Candidate Renee Lee from UC Irvine who will present a paper entitled "Property Values, Mello-Roos Tax and Efficient Local Public-Good Provision".
Renee will discuss how Mello-Roos taxes influence property values in community facilities districts (CFDs) in California. She will also show how this relationship is linked to the provision of public goods in these districts.
