Please join us tomorrow (Tuesday, February 3 at 12:30 pm in LIB 201) for a panel and discussion led by CSULB faculty that focuses on the the inhuman treatment of immigrants by ICE and other government agencies, the intensification of US imperialism abroad in Venezuela, and the terror wrought by the U.S. security state. “Imperialism Abroad, Fascism at Home: Venezuela, ICE, and the U.S. Security State” will feature Drs. Sabrina Alimahomed-Wilson (Sociology), Yousef Baker (International Studies), Marlene Nava Ramos (Chicano and Latino Studies), and Roberto J. Ortiz (Sociology) in this timely and urgent conversation.
