CLA Day

The College of Liberal Arts is proud to welcome back CLA Day on Wednesday, October 14th from 11AM-2PM in the Upper Quad!
We will be hosting all our departments, programs, and student clubs to help students make connections with their peers, learn about our major, minor, and certificate offerings, and discover all that a liberal arts education has to offer!
The theme for CLA Day this year is Carnival: The Four Corners of the World. In celebration of our college being at the crossroads of knowledge and world-building, we encourage students to explore the four "corners" of the College of Liberal Arts via global carnival festivities. Our "corners" are:
South: Rio - Identity, Environmental and Social Justice, & Community
North: Venice - Language, Memory & Meaning
West: New Orleans - Civic Life, Communication & Public Culture
East: Goa - Global Crossroads, Exchange & Discovery
Students do not have to register, but they will have the opportunity to participate in a scavenger hunt exploring the four corners to win prizes. We will have food, activities, music, and most importantly, a lot of fun celebrating our college!
