BEACONS Research Showcase
I’m excited to invite you to the inaugural BEACONS Roundtable Showcase, hosted by the President’s Commission on Sustainability (PCS) as part of CSULB’s Sustainability Month and moderated by yours truly!
Tuesday, October 27 | 2:00–3:00 p.m. | EED Room 40
The roundtable will feature three recipients of the BEACONS Faculty Mini-Grants, including two of our very own CLA colleagues, Dr. Brett Mizelle and Dr. Jonathan Pando Ocón with Professor Kent Hayward from College of the Arts.
This is a great opportunity to learn more about our colleagues’ RSCA, hear about the progress and potential impacts of their projects, and get a sneak peek at how the BEACONS Mini-Grant Program is supporting faculty research on sustainability, climate adaptation, and environmental justice across disciplines.
The event will be an informal, moderated conversation with plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. Whether you’re already engaged in sustainability-related scholarship or curious about how your own work might connect, we’d love to have you join us!
Please see the attached flyer for details. Don't miss it!
