CARECEN LA Services
In 2018, the California Department of Social Services (CDSS) launched the California State University Immigration Legal Services Project. This project provides free immigration legal services to all current students, staff (state and auxiliary), faculty, immediate family members of current students, recent graduates (who graduated within two years), and newly admitted students who have accepted their admissions. At CSULB, additional information regarding this project is available at the Dream Success Center.
CARECEN LA's attorneys and legal assistants are available to provide in-person and virtual legal services, including legal representation, in the following matters:
- General consultations
- DACA Applications - PDF
- Please note that CARECEN LA’s legal providers highly encourage individuals renewing their DACA to set up an appointment 180 days before the expiration date
- Family petitions
- Humanitarian relief
- Removal Defense
- Special Immigrant Juvenile Status
- Naturalization (Now offering $725 fee assistance*)
