Similar to a scholarship, it is free to admitted students.

No, all Residential Summer Bridge students will live on-campus in the CSULB residence halls for the entire four weeks.

Summer Bridge includes a very intense and busy schedule. We are unable to accommodate students' work schedules during the four-week program.

Students will take up to two workshops during the program – Math and English.

EOP students will be selected to attend SBP Residential based on their academic need and available program space.

Yes, students may bring their cars and will be given a campus parking permit.

Summer Bridge students must attend SOAR prior to the start of SBP.

Students in the commuter program will attend SBP Tuesday-Friday from 8am – 12pm for one week only. Students will not live in the dorms or take Math and English workshops either.

All Commuter Bridge program sessions will be held Tuesday-Friday from 8:00am-12:00pm. Students are required to select which session they can attend.

Session I: July 16- 19
Session II: July 23- 26
Session III: July 30 -August 2

Student may be excused on a case by case basis. Student must have extenuating circumstance for not being able to attend SBP. Documentation will be required.

SBP will prepare each EOP freshmen to understand our program requirements and the importance of being an EOP student. SBP commuter will also prepare you for classes in the Fall and promote a successful transition to college. Additionally you will have an opportunity to network and connect with other EOP students prior to the start of the semester.

Summer Bridge commuter program will be held Tuesday–Friday from 8am – 12pm. Please plan your work schedule or personal commitments around the program session you selected.

Parking cost 10 dollars a day students will be able to park in the parking structure or any general parking lots on campus.
