Researchers think juvenile white sharks can hear you swimming 100 feet away—and don’t care

Chris Lowe, professor and director of Cal State Long Beach's Shark Lab, told the Los Angeles Times about research into how juvenile white sharks detect humans in the water. Lowe said the sharks appear to use sound to identify humans and avoid them because they’re simply not interested in us.
