Day at The Beach gives students, families a glimpse of what's in store when they commit to CSULB

Published April 18, 2023

Day at The Beach, a campus-wide open house on April 15, gave the more than 11,500 newly admitted students and their families an early peek at what services were offered at Cal State Long Beach.

Following a welcome celebration at the Walter Pyramid, the visitors roamed the campus and discovered college showcases, connected with faculty and staff and toured the housing facilities.

The students and families also stopped by the University Bookstore to shop for their Beach gear, met with organizations at the resource fair and engaged with current students who shared their experiences at The Beach.

The event was designed to help the new students declare they are #CSULBbound for Fall 2023. Learn more and view more photos on the Day at The Beach website
