2019 PitchFest winners and participants

The Apostle Pitchfest is an opportunity for teams that participated in the Incubator and those who did not make the final four in the Innovation Challenge to pitch their business ideas to another panel of experts for prize funding. This event is designed to support and encourage teams to pursue their ideas in alternative competitions.

An app that serves as a "one-stop shop" for people who are trying to organize any type of get-together. 

2nd Place - Freskoball

Brings a variety of high-quality racquets that are designed to fit people of all levels and made with a material that keeps the game easy to play and with a nice flow.

3rd Place - Magdalena’s Daughters

Provides therapeutic residential services, life skills, and education to transform the lives of sexually exploited and at-risk female foster youth.

Audience Choice - Invenzee

A small sanitizer dispenser unit that connects to your wrist allowing you to sanitize your hands with minimum risk and contact.

1st Place - White Rabbit

White Rabbit takes typically discarded or unused scraps of fabric and refashions them into new fabric in an environmentally friendly and effective way. Team Member: Allan Rojas

2nd Place - 3GC Inc.

3CG Inc. seeks to promote service learning partnerships between Africa and the Diaspora. Their motto is: GIVE FREELY. GAIN DAILY. GROW CONSCIOUSLY. Team Member: Chiara Metellus

3rd Place - Peri

A food insecure app that provides users with real time notifications of discounted food nearing expiration. Team Members: Josh Haber and Armando Gutierrez

Judges: Dean Garrison, Local Entrepreneur and retired Honeywell Director, Gail Meredith, Member of the Innovation Challenge Steering Committee and retired Boeing Director, and Jim Mandas, Serial Entrepreneur with a focus on transformative technology.

2nd Place - Sweet Peach Planning

Offers wedding planning coordination packages. Team Member: Megan Papageorge

3rd Place - Global Medical Diagnostics

A product that helps people manage type 2 diabetes. Team Members: Talha Karwa and Austin Milo
