Covid Compliance Officers

A Covid Compliance Officer (CCO) is a crew member whose main focus is to mitigate the transmission of COVID-19 as well as any other diseases that're spread from human to human. CCOs will make sure cast and crew are compliant with all safety guidelines set by FEA. CCOs must be trained and approved through the FEA Production Office. Non-CSULB CCOs are not approved to work on FEA productions.

  • Productions of 9 people or fewer do not require an FEA Production and Safety Office approved Covid Compliance Officer (CCO).
  • Productions of 10 or more people (inclusive of crew, actors, documentary participants or any other collaborator on set) REQUIRE an FEA Production and Safety Office approved CCO who is not filling any other role on the project, and the testing procedures as described in the section above.
  • The Production and Technical Safety Office might grant exception for certain projects of no more than (4) total participants if the entire production takes place outdoors and students will not come into direct contact (less than 6’ outdoors), with non-CSULB participants. Such instances must be approved in advance by the Production and Technical Safety Office.

This is the approved CCO list. If you need a CCO for your production please look at this document and contact any approved CCO.

For those who wish to be FEA CCO trained, please see the Trainings and How-To's page.
