CSULB dance students will be performing in the premiere of Contra-Tiempo’s joyUS justUS at Carpenter Performing Arts Center, November 10th, 2018. joyUS justUS is an “evening length work that takes on joy as our most radical and revolutionary super power, to build a world of more equity, connection, and justice. The piece will involve several sections, including one that asks the audience to be fully involved.” Undergraduates will work with Dance MFA candidates, Manuel Macias and Queala Clancy, and members of Contra Tiempo to prepare for this performance collaboration.
