Dennis M. Berryman

1961, B.S., Business Administration-Accounting, CSULB

Since graduating from CSULB and obtaining his CPA certificate, Dennis Berryman has had a successful career in public accounting, advancing from chief financial officer to chief executive officer of an NYSE company subsidiary and co-founding Pacific Development Group, which is involved in real estate development, management and ownership.

Before assuming the position of managing partner in 1980, he was president and CEO of Santa Anita Development Corp. Berryman also was an audit manager with Coopers & Lybrand, a major accounting and consulting firm.

He has found time for his alma mater through involvement in capital campaigns for the College of Business Administration and The Pyramid. His CSULB memberships include the 49er Athletic Foundation and the President’s Associates.

He and his wife, Carol Ann, have passed their spirit for the worldwide travel to their daughter, Erin, a travel guide, and their son, Mark, who became a Peace Corps volunteer in Mali, West Africa this August.
