As executive assistant to Supervisor Roger Stanton, Barbara Brown advises the Orange County lawmaker on policies and programs related to health, education, community service agencies and intergovernmental relations in addition to a variety of other duties.

She also has been elected official, serving as mayor and member of Fountain Valley’s city council. Her community activities are extensive: chairman of the Orange County Chapter’s United Latino Political Association, president-elect of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, board member of the South Orange County YWCA, and member of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly, just to name a few.

The leadership she’s provided has earned her the title of Hispanic Woman of the Year from the League of United Latin American Citizens and Fountain Valley Citizen of the Year from the Chamber of Commerce.
