Upward Bound Summer Program

Upward Bound offers a six-week summer program with two different levels running concurrently.
Students in will attend classes that will enhance and strengthen their academic skills in English, mathematics, foreign languages and science. They also attend classes and workshops in career planning, computer applications, leadership, and financial literacy.

Summer Food Program

The CSULB Upward Bound summer residential program participates in the Food Research and Action Center's Simplified Summer Food Program. The Simplified Summer Food Program provides federal funds to feed children (18 and younger) up to two meals per day during the summer or during a year-round school's extended break.
