Fee Increase - Fall Semester 2021

Every year, we face the reality of the rising costs to provide various parking services as well as safe and effective parking facilities on campus. These services include parking structure maintenance, asphalt repairs, elevator certifications, staffing the Visitor Information Center, and customer service at the Parking and Transportation Services office just to name a few.

We have been reluctant to take this step, but starting in fall 2021, parking fees will be raised incrementally each year through 2026 to create a sustainable parking operating budget and cover vital parking infrastructure repairs. The 2021-22 student parking permit price will be $210/semester. The new fee structure will provide necessary funding to repair parking facilities, fund programs like the campus shuttles, as well as enforcement, appeal processing and event services.
