Shark Lab tracks great white shark activity along California's coast

CBS News highlighted Cal State Long Beach’s Shark Lab as researchers track growing numbers of juvenile white sharks near Southern California beaches. Chris Lowe, professor and director of Cal State Long Beach's Shark Lab, reported using tags, drones and other technology to study shark movements, support lifeguards and reassure beachgoers that close encounters rarely become dangerous.
