Cal State Long Beach has long felt like a second home to me — at various times, I have studied, taught, and worked here — and I want every member of our community to know that same sense of belonging.

I am sure some of you are aware of immigration enforcement activities in Los Angeles and surrounding communities. While we are not currently aware of immigration activities in Long Beach, university leadership and University Police are monitoring these events carefully.
