Political science expert analyzes likely campaign messages in governor’s race

Matt Lesenyie, an assistant professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach, was interviewed by the Long Beach Press-Telegram about how candidates in California’s gubernatorial race are likely to frame their campaigns. Lesenyie said voters can expect candidates to lean into familiar partisan themes as the race intensifies ahead of the November election.
