Political scientist explains why the governor’s office may not appeal to some candidates

Matt Lesenyie, an assistant professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach, was interviewed by the Christian Science Monitor about the California governor's race. He said there are no easy political victories in the future for whoever wins the election which is sometimes a deterrence for candidates to run.
