Matt Lesenyie
Matt Lesenyie, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach.
He has a strong background in state and local politics with expertise in political psychology, interest groups, California politics, and race politics. His research examines whether and what voters can learn from elite messaging and information cues. His current project shows how voters respond to campaign finance disclosures in political advertisements.
He holds a doctorate degree in political science from the University of California, Davis.
