Political scientist comments on the Democratic Party’s polling strategy in governor’s race

Matt Lesenyie, an assistant professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach, spoke with the Long Beach Press-Telegram about the crowded field of Democratic candidates for California governor. He said it was too early to pressure low-polling candidates out of the race and that voters will likely make up their minds in the last two weeks of the primary.
