Assistant Professor Cites Global Warming in Climate "Whiplash"

Laurie Huning, an assistant professor of civil engineering and construction engineering management at Cal State Long Beach, explained in an article for the San Francisco Chronicle why we can expect more weather "whiplash" of wet and dry periods across the state because of a warming climate. While California's snowpack is over 235 % of average this year, Professor Huning said climate models predict an increase in the number of back-to-back years of low to no snow conditions across California.
