CSULB Researcher Challenges Myth of Ancient Greek Infanticide

Dr. Debby Sneed, a lecturer in the Classics department at CSULB, recently published a research paper in Science refuting a myth that ancient Spartans regularly killed weak or deformed babies. Dr. Sneed found archeological evidence indicating ancient Greeks cared for disabled babies as a common practice.
