CSULB Economists Present Sobering Costs of Rental Housing

CSULB economic professors Seiji Steimetz and Robert Kleinhenz appeared in the Long Beach Business Journal after presenting information at the Long Beach Economic Partnership Quarterly Forum on rental costs in Long Beach, Calif. Nearly all Zip codes had an annual increase of 5% which equals about $100 a month increase for renters. Approximately 60% of Long Beach residents are renters.
