See yourself pursuing a career in arts, culture, or tourism? We are calling all students who are interested in working in the arts, entertainment, culture, hospitality and more to listen to our engaging employer guest speakers in a brief panel-setting followed by small-group discussions with employers. You will learn about what you can do to get your foot in the door, what it’s like to work in these fields, advice to be successful, and have your resume reviewed by an employer or counselor.

Our guest speakers will be joining us from Netflix, NBCUniversal, Carolyn Campagna Kleefeld Contemporary Art Museum, Long Beach Art Museum, Hilton, Courtyard by Marriott, Panda Restaurant Group (Panda Express, HIBACHI-SAN, and Panda Inn) and the Los Angeles County Arts and Culture Department to share their insight into working in these industries and tips for getting a job in these fields.

Please RSVP for this event by Tuesday, April 16th at 11:59pm through CareerLINK by going to "Workshops", locating this workshop, and clicking "Attend"! If you RSVP, you will receive an email the day before the event asking which employers you would like to speak with in the small-group discussions. Students who RSVP will receive priority discussion group time with their top choice employers.

We hope this panel and networking time with our guest speakers will make you feel more prepared to enter the workforce in these industries and help you be the best job candidate you can be. Remember to bring a printed copy of your resume or cover letter with you if you would like a counselor to review it for you.
