This team's project explored the effectiveness of the Directed Self-Placement (DSP) process used to guide first-year students into appropriate English composition courses. The goal of this project aimed to assess whether DSP recommendations accurately support student success in first-year writing courses and identify factors, such as parental educational background, that may influence student performance and course placement outcomes.

This team's project explored how CSULB students utilize career development resources and navigate career planning throughout their academic journey. The goal of this project aimed to understand students’ perceptions of career services, identify barriers and supports related to career management, and explore opportunities to provide more personalized, accessible, and industry-specific career development resources that enhance student confidence and post-graduation success.

This team's project explored service learning and community-engaged learning as high-impact educational practices that contribute to student success. The goal of this project aimed to understand who participates in service learning courses, examine how students experience and benefit from these opportunities, and identify how service learning can be leveraged to support academic achievement, personal growth, civic engagement, and broader student success outcomes.

This team's project explored the factors associated with academic warning status and the effectiveness of interventions designed to help College of Business students return to good academic standing. The goal of this project aimed to identify the demographic and academic characteristics linked to academic warning and evaluate how advising interventions can support student recovery, persistence, and academic success.

This team's project explored the impact of the College of Engineering’s Beach Engineering Student Success Team (BESST) learning community on student retention, persistence, and graduation outcomes. The goal of this project aimed to examine how participation in the BESST program influences students’ academic pathways and course-taking patterns, as well as identify factors that contribute to long-term success and degree completion among engineering students.

This team's project explored the institutional, academic, and psychosocial factors that contribute to student attrition and persistence at CSULB. The goal of this project aimed to identify predictors of student departure, understand how academic warning and other risk factors influence retention, and develop data-informed strategies that strengthen early intervention efforts and improve student success across the university

This team's project explored the implementation and impact of CSULB’s Ethnic Studies 119 General Education requirement following the adoption of the statewide ethnic studies mandate. The goal of this project aimed to understand student enrollment patterns, experiences, and perceptions of Ethnic Studies courses, as well as assess how the requirement contributes to student learning, sense of belonging, and understanding of race, equity, and inclusion.

This team's project explored the effectiveness and equity of the Long Beach Promise program for students in the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). The goal of this project aimed to identify factors that influence student success within the Long Beach Promise pathway, examine barriers affecting recruitment, enrollment, and persistence, and explore opportunities to strengthen support services and improve educational pathways for Promise students throughout their college experience.

This team's project explored equity in the distribution of institutional scholarships at CSULB. The goal of this project aimed to examine who receives scholarships, identify potential disparities in scholarship access and award allocation across student populations, and explore opportunities to create more transparent, consistent, and equitable scholarship processes that better support students from underrepresented and financially vulnerable backgrounds.

This team's project explored the factors contributing to the underenrollment of Black/African American students at CSULB. The goal of this project aimed to identify the demographic, institutional, and policy-related factors that influence whether admitted Black/African American students choose to enroll, as well as explore strategies to improve equitable access, recruitment, and enrollment outcomes for Black students.

This team's project explored access to and participation in the Long Beach College Promise through a racial equity lens. The goal of this project aimed to identify equity-related barriers and communication gaps that affect student awareness, access, and retention within the Long Beach College Promise program, as well as explore opportunities to strengthen support systems and improve college access and success for students from Long Beach Unified School District schools.

This team's project explored how CSULB students define, experience, and maintain health and wellness during their college journey. The goal of this project aimed to better understand students’ perspectives on positive mental health, identify the factors and strengths that contribute to their well-being, and explore opportunities to develop more accessible, strengths-based, and student-centered wellness resources and support services across campus.

This team's project explored patterns of student use of academic support services, such as tutoring, academic coaching, and supplemental instruction, at CSULB. The goal of this project aimed to identify demographic and institutional factors associated with academic support utilization, understand barriers that prevent students from accessing available resources, and explore strategies to increase engagement, belonging, and equitable access to academic support services.
