 Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies 

(This degree title change was approved by the CSULB Academic Senate on March 20, 2025, approved by the President on March 21, 2025, and by the CSU Chancellor’s Office on April 18, 2025.) The Bachelor of Arts in International Studies will become: Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies.

 All current students enrolled (including students entering the program in Fall 2025) in the “International Studies” degree will have the option to move to the new title or stay with the original. The CSU Major Code and CIP Code will remain the same (22997/30.2001).
