Welcome to The Beach Family!

New Student & Family Programs (NSFP) oversees programs that welcomes all new members of the Beach Family. Specifically, our department manages Student Orientation, Advising & Registration (SOAR) which is our university-required new student orientation program for all incoming undergraduates. Additionally, we provide opportunities for parents and family members to support your students' successful transition to life at The Beach through Parent & Family Programs (PFP).  Finally, NSFP offers student-centered programming through First-Year Beach Connections (FYBC) that supports students' acclimation to the demands of college life and helps build a sense of community.
