Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a free, federally-funded program housed at California State University, Long Beach since 1977.

The purpose of ETS is to identify, select and assist low-income and potential first-generation students to continue in and to graduate from secondary school and enroll in a post secondary educational program. ETS targets specific, local schools to locate students who may require extra assistance in taking steps toward seeking higher education. Resources for scholarships and financial aid and useful links to college planning and career planning sites are all here to help both students and parents.
