California State University, Long Beach is excited to extend a heartfelt invitation to you for our second CSULB Community Gospel Choir Concert, set to take place on February 21, 2026! This unforgettable event will celebrate the powerful and uplifting traditions of gospel music, bringing together the voices of the CSULB and Long Beach communities for a night of song, unity, and celebration.

Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just discovering gospel music, this workshop is your chance to learn, grow, and share your voice in a vibrant community.We are excited to welcome back Professor Ananias “Markey” Montague, as we once again celebrate the rich traditions of gospel music while strengthening connections across CSULB and the greater Long Beach community. 
 

We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the 2026 Gospel Music Workshop Community Choir at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB)—the second year of this powerful and joy-filled experience, following a successful inaugural workshop in 2025. Rehearsals will take place Monday, February 16 through Friday, February 20, 2026, culminating in a spectacular community concert on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
