Expert assesses Supreme Court mail-voting decision

Matt Lesenyie, an associate professor of political science at Cal State Long Beach, told the Long Beach Press-Telegram that the Supreme Court’s mail-voting decision is unlikely to immediately affect California’s November midterm elections. However, legal uncertainty remains because the court lifted an injunction without ruling on the lawfulness of the executive order, leaving other challenges unresolved.
