Professor explains that white shark attacks off California are statistically rare

Chris Lowe, a professor of marine biology and director of the Shark Lab at Cal State Long Beach, told The Tribune of San Luis Obispo that California averages only three white shark bites each year, despite the millions of people who enter the ocean each year.
