Directions and Parking

The Garden is located on the campus of California State University Long Beach on Earl Warren Drive (in between Beach Drive and Atherton, just east of Bellflower Blvd.)

Parking

The closest parking is in Lot G4, directly across from the Garden's entrance.

CSULB now uses License Plate Recognition (LPR) on campus. Your license plate functions as your parking permit.

Directions

From 405 North:

  • Exit at Bellflower Blvd.
  • Turn left from the off-ramp and then make an immediate right on Bellflower Blvd.
  • Continue to Beach Drive and turn left into campus.
  • Turn left on Earl Warren Drive.
  • At the second stop sign, turn right into parking Lot G4.

From 405 South / 22 West / 605 South:

  • Exit at 7th Street and continue to Bellflower Blvd.
  • Turn right at Bellflower Blvd. and make another right at Beach Drive
  • Turn left on Earl Warren Drive.
  • At the second stop sign, turn right into parking Lot G4.

Please note the following:

Parking Machines

  • You will be asked to provide your license plate information when purchasing parking at a campus pay station. It is important that your license plate information be entered correctly at time of purchase or your vehicle may be cited in error. Visit the CSULB Parking Information website for more information.
  • Parking pay stations are cashless. Credit and debit cards only.
  • Receipts are not given by parking machines and are not necessary for parking validation.

Short-Term Parking

  • Short-term parking is located at the green curbed spaces next to the canal in Lot G4 and can be paid for in 30, 60 or 90 minute increments.
  • Short-term permits are not transferrable to other parking lots.

Daily Parking

  • Do not park in short-term parking if you have a daily permit, you may still receive a citation.
  • Daily parking permits are transferrable to any CSULB parking lot.
