1:00pm - 3:00pm in HSCI-162
Are you interested in digitizing collections or do you know any other young adults who may be interested? Join Dr. Amanda Fisher of our Biological Science Department at a WeDigBio event to learn about and participate in her exciting research about the effects of climate change on flowering time.
During the event Professor Amanda Fisher will give a short intro to our ongoing herbarium project, attendees will use Notes From Nature to database specimens from the CSULB herbarium, play a game, Skype with Biodiversity Scientist, and have refreshments. We'll track our progress with the dashboard on the WeDigBio website that will be updated once the event begins.
This event is free, but registration is required. Seats are limited.
WeDigBio at CSULB is part of a global four-day campaign to database museum specimens and celebrate biodiversity.
