CSULB Affordable Learning Solutions
(AL$) initiative enables faculty to choose and provide more affordable, quality educational content for their students.
By reducing CSU student course material expenses, more students acquire the course materials they need to succeed and benefit from their CSU learning experience.
The goal of the CSULB AL$ is to lower the costs of materials by:
- Providing resources to faculty for "no cost" and "lower" cost materials
- Spreading awareness on AL$ efforts through the CSULB community
We understand Open Educational Resources (OER) may not be for everyone so we are here to provide both resources on "no cost" materials and information on how to "lower" the costs of your paid materials.
Visit our No Cost Resources page to learn more on how you can find free materials such as OER and library resources. It is going to take some time and work.
Visit our Lower Cost Resources page to learn more on how you can help save your students money while still using a paid textbook.
